HRV/ERV ventilation, whole-home humidifiers, UV air purifiers, and HEPA filtration — installed and integrated with your existing HVAC system.
Every Toronto home has different IAQ challenges. We assess, recommend, and install the right combination of products for your specific situation.
Heat and energy recovery ventilators bring fresh outdoor air in while exhausting stale indoor air. Required by Ontario Building Code in new homes. Essential in modern airtight renovations. We supply and install Lifebreath, Fantech, and Venmar systems.
Bypass, fan-powered, and steam whole-home humidifiers integrated with your furnace. UV-C air purifiers to eliminate bacteria, viruses, and mold at the coil and in the duct. Improve comfort and reduce airborne pathogens.
Whole-home HEPA filtration systems and high-MERV media filters that capture fine particles, allergens, and PM2.5. Includes dehumidifier installation for basements and tight conditioned crawlspaces.
All prices include supply, installation, and integration with your existing HVAC system.

An HRV brings fresh outdoor air into your home while recovering heat from the exhaust air. Toronto homes built since 2003 are required to have HRVs under the Ontario Building Code because modern airtight construction traps stale air, humidity, and pollutants indoors. Older homes benefit enormously from HRV retrofits.
Between 35–45% relative humidity in winter. Below 30% causes dry skin, static electricity, wood shrinkage, and increased susceptibility to respiratory infections. Above 50% in winter causes condensation on windows and walls, which leads to mold. A whole-home humidifier tied to your furnace maintains the ideal range automatically.
Yes, with some caveats. UV-C systems installed in the air stream kill bacteria, viruses, and mold spores that pass the lamp. They are effective at reducing biological contaminants in the duct system and on cooling coils. They do not remove particles — for that you need a HEPA or high-MERV filter. A UV light combined with a high-MERV filter addresses both biological and particle concerns.
Both recover energy from exhaust air. An HRV recovers heat only. An ERV recovers both heat and moisture. In Toronto's dry winters, an ERV is often preferred because it retains some indoor humidity. In humid climates, an HRV is preferred. We assess your home and recommend the right type.
A bypass or fan-powered whole-home humidifier installed on your furnace runs $400–$900 installed. A steam humidifier runs $900–$1,800 installed. All are connected to your furnace ductwork and maintain humidity automatically.
Yes. We install HRVs, ERVs, humidifiers, UV air purifiers, and HEPA filtration throughout Toronto, Thornhill, Richmond Hill, Markham, Vaughan, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke, Mississauga, and Brampton. Based in Thornhill, we serve all of the GTA.
Yes. We offer an in-home air quality consultation where we assess your ventilation, humidity levels, filtration, and any specific concerns — allergies, odours, or renovation dust. We then recommend only what you actually need, not a checklist of every product we sell.
A standard HRV installation in an existing Toronto home typically takes 4–6 hours. This includes running ducting from the unit to an exterior wall and two interior connection points. We complete the full installation in a single visit and walk you through the controls before we leave.
